Special attention is being given to youth all over the world. The youth is being kept as positive and happy as possible so that they can stay away from all worries and evils like addiction and walk unitedly on the path of collective development of the country and the world. Along with this, they can also join this campaign and connect with world friendship and world welfare. In this way the world will become a big family. The Zambian government is also paying special attention to this. Zambia News and Information Services has also given special information in this regard.

The Zambian government has taken an important step in empowering the youth in Southern Province, Iteji-Tezhi. On Thursday, October 17, 2024, Youth, Sports and Arts Minister Elvis Nkandu handed over motorcycles, grants and sports kits to beneficiaries at the Iteji-Tezhi boarding school.

There are also key features of the empowerment programme that continue to receive special attention. These are the ways in which the empowerment campaign reaches almost every concerned youth. One of the ways in which special attention is paid is the distribution of resources.

Concerning unity and resource distribution, Minister Nkandu emphasized the importance of unity and equitable distribution of resources and also urged leaders to avoid selective practices in the allocation of grants so that the assistance reaches everyone without any bias.

The distribution of financial grants and motorcycles has been planned very carefully. 112 youths from various wards have been given financial grants ranging from K500.00 to K5000.00 and motorcycles on loan to improve their quality of life and pace of development.

National initiatives are receiving special attention. The empowerment programme aims to benefit all Zambians aged 18-35 years, regardless of their political affiliation. The general public is pleased with this.

There is also a focus on responsible use of these funds to benefit as many people as possible. Beneficiaries are encouraged to handle public funds with care and adhere to loan repayment guidelines.

There is also a focus on sports development. To this end, 20 local sports teams will be provided with sports equipment to promote sporting talent and community engagement.

This initiative is in line with the government's efforts to improve the lives of vulnerable individuals and promote community development. Similar programmes have been implemented in other provinces, such as the Eastern Province, where K3 million was allocated to empower young people with motorcycles.
